A group of Boston, Massachusetts researchers have found some new information including the fact that teens with hearing loss lose their upper range (high frequency) hearing ability first, similar to 50 to 60 year olds. SafeAwake’s European Entry Plans

SafeAwake’s Fire Safety Product Meets the Requirements of NFPA Code 72, Version 2010
July 26th, 2010SafeAwake is proud to announce that their fire safety product that works with a smoke alarm providing secondary tactile notification in order to awaken sleeping individuals to an emergency meets the Underwriter’s Laboratory testing requirements of UL 217 and UL 1971, according to an independent third party testing laboratory in order to meet the National Fire Alarm Code 72, Version 2010, new commercial sleeping room mandates. This product listing means that SafeAwake will be able to sell its fire safety product to commercial sleeping room owners which include hotels, motels, college dorms, assisted and independent care facilities and rental properties. July 26th, 2010SafeAwake would like to thank all the people who stopped by their booth at the Deaf Nation World Expo 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada, last week. It was a great opportunity for the SafeAwake team to meet its users and potential future users to test out the product, ask questions and provide feedback about the product. Firehouse Program 2010
June 11th, 2010SafeAwake has decided to continue the Firehouse Program this year for volunteer firehouses in local communities across the country. This program has been running for about nine months. The objective of the program is to educate people in your community who are deaf or hard of hearing about the importance of fire safety.
